Leisure Village prioritizes the safety and security of its residents through a comprehensive and well-organized Safety and Security Department. This department ensures a secure living environment, maintaining peace of mind for the community’s residents.

Security Department Overview

The Security Department at Leisure Village is a robust operation managed by a Chief of Security. The team consists of trained security officers who are not only responsible for maintaining safety but are also certified First Responders for medical emergencies. This dual role ensures that residents receive immediate assistance in case of health emergencies, further enhancing the community’s safety.

Gates and Access Control

Leisure Village employs a stringent access control system to monitor and regulate entry into the community. The village is enclosed and features three staffed gates:

  • Main Gate: Located at the primary entrance on Leisure Village Drive, this gate is manned 24/7, ensuring that all visitors and vehicles are screened before entry.
  • East Gate: Provides controlled access off Santa Rosa Road near Upland Road. M-F 6am – 7pm and Sat & Sun 7am-7pm
  • West Gate: Provides controlled access off Los Pueblos Dr. M-F 6am – 7pm and Sat & Sun 7am-7pm

Each gate is operated by trained security personnel who verify the identity of visitors and maintain records of entries. Residents use a secure system to gain entry, ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter the community​.

Emergency Preparedness

The Security Department also focuses on emergency preparedness. Officers receive training in various emergency response scenarios, including fire, natural disasters, and medical emergencies. This preparedness ensures that the community can quickly and effectively respond to any crisis, minimizing potential risks to residents.

In addition to security personnel, Leisure Village has implemented several infrastructural measures to enhance safety:

  • Surveillance Systems: Strategically placed cameras monitor key areas within the village, providing real-time surveillance and recording to deter and investigate any incidents.
  • Lighting: Well-lit pathways and common areas ensure visibility at night, reducing the risk of accidents and enhancing the feeling of security among residents.
